Samuel "Sam" Edward Nisbet

Mr. Samuel “Sam” Edward Nisbet age 75 of Flowery Branch formerly of Suwanee departed this life Saturday July 20, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Sam was born in Bainbridge, Ga to his parents William “Gene” and Carrie Freeman Nisbet. Sam was active in the local Jaycees for many years in Savannah, GA. He was a member of ATO fraternity at Georgia Southern University and was a member of White Bluff UMC for many years. He had a long career working in the banking industry with many valued colleagues. Sam is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife Jan Nisbet, children and their spouses, Natalie Parker (Andy), Mandy Butterly (Ryan), Staci Hunt (Brian), grandchildren, Riley, Abby, Owen and Morgan Parker, Hollis Hunt, Connor and Cassidy Butterly, and his older brother Gene Nisbet and wife Barbara, as well as nieces Susan Surage (Lawrence) and Carol Hammond (Tim). Services to honor the life of Mr. Samuel Edward Nisbet will be Friday July 26, 2024, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with minister Mike Day officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home. Ingram Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of the arrangements. The family requests any memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital (www.stjude.org) or Hospice of Northeast Georgia (www.nghs.com/foundation/hospice) in lieu of flowers.
