Sandra J. Bice

Sandra J. Bice, age 76, of Cumming, GA entered into rest on Monday, June 17, 2024. She was the wife of the late Stafford E. Bice. Sandra was born in Oxford, Alabama, daughter of the late I.B. Johns and Ruby Lee Johns.

Sandra had many roles in her life that included being a preschool teacher, business professional, and volunteer. She excelled in her professional career, continuing to work into her 70s. Most of all, she was a partner to her husband for more than a half century, a protector and guiding light to her children, and loving example to her grandchildren. She loved the Lord as a faithful Christian and life long Southern Baptist. Sandra was a member at First Baptist Church Cumming. 

She liked to travel and was fortunate to visit many places throughout the world, but she cherished the comfort of home with her family. Although she is a daughter of the South, she loved New England and the years she lived in Connecticut. 

Sandra is the beloved mother of Preston Lee Bice and his wife Sandra, the late Stafford Ebert Bice II, and loving grandmother of Jonathan and his wife Natasha Bice, and Gina Bice. She is the sister of the late Roselyn Bobo and her husband Henry, and Frankie Hand and the late Ron Hand. She is also survived by in-laws Gail Crosthwait and her husband Bob, and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1st, 2024, at 11:00 AM, at First Baptist Church Cumming with Scott Carpenter officiating. There will be a reception directly following the service.
