Sandra Reiley Pritchett was received into the arms of her Savior on October 26, 2012. Sandra was born at Emory University Hospital on September 2, 1943 and raised in Decatur and Avondale Estates by her parents Charles E. Reiley and Louise Lyman Reiley. At Avondale High School, Sandra met Ed "Charlie" Pritchett, who she married in 1964 while both were attending Florida State University, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. After graduating from college, Sandra and Charlie returned to the metro area where they raised their three sons, Todd, Matt and Ross in Alpharetta (Johns Creek). Sandra enjoyed years of ALTA tennis at the Atlanta Athletic Club. She spent many years as a volunteer with the Gwinnett Auxiliary of the American Cancer Society. She was also a volunteer at Hope Lodge, a free residential facility for cancer patients residing outside the Atlanta area. She loved gardening and her yard was always a testament to that. Sandra was admired for her beauty, but more for her beautiful spirit, her sharp wit and her delightful since of humor. Wherever she was, laughter was always nearby. One of her joys was as a member and leader of her Bible Study Fellowship group, also delighting in her yearly trips to Edisto Island, SC with "The Beach Babes." She was a faithful member of Mount. Pisgah United Methodist Church, where lately she had been greatly missed by her G2R Sunday School Class. God used his angels, her family and friends to walk with her in her final days. Sandra especially wanted them to know what a gift each of them was to her in their steadfast love, prayer and caring. Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Chuck Reiley and Louise Reiley and brother-in-law, Roger Doss. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ed "Charlie" Pritchett; sons, Todd Pritchett of Woodstock, Matt (Marietta) Pritchett of Suwanee, Ross (Andrea) Pritchett of Atlanta; brother, Chuck (Lucy) Reiley of Black Mountain, NC; sister, Sherron Reiley Doss of Cumming; grandsons, John Pritchett, Will Pritchett, Charlie Pritchett; nieces, Laura Reiley Dean, Wendy Doss Rabe; nephew, Alan Reiley; three great nephews and two great nieces.
