Sandra Mary Suranie

Sandra Mary Suranie, 83 of Cumming, GA died peacefully on March 27, 2023.  Sandy was born on July 23, 1939 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.  She is survived by her beloved sons David and Derek Suranie (Jill) and her beautiful grand daughters Chelsea, Beth and Emma.

Sandy spent the last 18 years in Cumming, GA simply enjoying being a grandmother.  She spent countless hours to ensure her granddaughters knew how to sing, dance andhow to create a beautiful garden full of color.  Sandy had a warm, friendly smile for everyone and there was not a sale she did not like.  She enjoyed being in her kitchen to make cookies, cakes or Polish dishes for her family or her neighbors.  She loved to travel to penny slot casinos and nurseries across the southeast to find beautiful blooms.  

She leaves a legacy of love and kindness and she will be missed deeply.

A service will be held at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton GA where she will join her husband Ted who passed away on January 20, 2023.
