Sara Nell McClendon Jackson

Sara Nell McClendon Jackson, age 84, of Cumming, GA., passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. She attended Roanoke Baptist Church. Sara retired from AT&T and later went on to work for Tech Data in Clearwater, FL. She had a combined career of 40 years in the IT field. Sara was born on October 4, 1937 to Dudley and Jewell McClendon in Albertville, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Jackson; grandchildren, Connor Woodcock and Haley Robins; sister, Wanda Summers; brother, James McClendon.

 She is survived by her children, Allison Richardson, Jason and April Jackson, Sr., Valori and Tom Woodcock; grandchildren, Jayce (Amber) Jackson and their children, Ellee, Fisher and Parris, Whitney (Justin) Roper and their daughter Lillie, Hunter Richardson, Sydney Woodcock and Matt, Amber (Jacob) Stephens, Noah Woodcock and Scout, Jacob Jackson, Elliot Woodcock, Marty Moore, Jr.; several nieces and nephews also survive.

 Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Roanoke Baptist Church located at 2621 Roanoke Road, Cumming, GA. 30041 with Rev. Clark Watson, Rev. Kevin Nix and Rev. Jamie Sanford officiating.
