Sarah Martin Sewell, age 91, of Cumming, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013. Sarah was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Carl Sewell; parents, Rev. and Mrs. L.D. Martin; son-in-law, Frank Heimann Jr.; sister, Nassie Belle Martin; brothers, L.T. and Franklin Martin; number of brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Survivors include her children, Patricia Heimann of Oakwood, Les Sewell of Temple, Brad Sewell of Santa Anna, CA; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Inez Bottoms of Dahlonega, Mary Myers of Cumming; sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Joe Smith of Cumming; sister-in-law, Lottie Sewell of Cumming; nieces, nephews, other loving family; caregivers, Gail Hansard, Margie Stancel, Janet Fields. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Coal Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Bennett and Rev. Joe Kirday officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
