Sau Chun Leung

Sau Chun Leung, 83 of Cumming, GA passed away peacefully on March 28th, 2023. She was born on August 17th to Liong Tjo Tjak and Lie Po Lan in Makkasar, Indonesia. After graduating high school she moved to Hong Kong to further her education. At age 42, she immigrated to the United States to raise her three children. 

To many she was lovingly known as Leung ayi and she was a pillar of her community. Her generosity was deeply felt as she was always lending a helping hand, whether it was welcoming new college students or picking up groceries for people at specialty markets. She spent countless hours in the kitchen making things like Zongzi and dumplings for her family or eggrolls for church parties. It was a true labor of love and that love was the secret ingredient to bringing us all together. No one was ever a stranger when she was around. She lit up every room she entered with her infectious smile and the warmest laugh you could hear from a mile away. 

An inspiration to all she leaves a legacy of love, faith and kindness and will be deeply missed. 

She is preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Maggie (Jim) Wang. She is survived by her children Wai (Susie) Pang and Mimi (Mary Kay) Pang, her grandchildren Jessica (Buddy) Hand, Hope (Benjamin) Vance, Marissa Pang, Angelica Wang, Mathis Pang, and many other loving relatives and friends. 

Her life will be celebrated on Sunday, April 2nd at Ingram Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11-1pm with a memorial service to follow.
