Scott Chandler Huggins

Scott Chandler Huggins, 53, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023, after an extended illness of oral cancer. A native of Atlanta, Scott was a well-known trial attorney. He graduated from Redan High School, the University of Georgia (where he was the penultimate Dawgs fan) and the Mercer University Law School. He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Daniels Huggins.

Survivors include his wife, Kelly Huggins; twin sons, Merit and Owen Huggins; father, Frank Huggins; sister, Heather Kaplan and a number of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Scott’s life will be held Saturday, August 12, at 5:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service.
