Sharyn Lee Winter, born July 31st, 1941, in Kelso, Washington. Sharyn was always a loving, cheerful, fun to be with, practical wife of 62 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved shopping for her family and anyone she felt needed something. Sharyn was never one to sit around, she was always a taxi driver for school activities, and joined the family racing sailboats as a spinnaker packer and a light weight fore-deck crew member.
She went to Jazzercise classes, and at the senior center she attened water aerobics, Zumba, and Tai-Chi. She liked all kinds of music and knew the words to most songs. She liked road trips in the car or camper van and as the navigator made it to many National Parks in the East and West. She was active in the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society and was at one time running the ships store.
She leaves behind a husband, 3 sons, 6 grand children and 6 great grand children and a good number of friends.
Sharyn was a people person, funny, a hugger, and never met a stranger. She was always smiling.
A celebration of life will be held at Ingrams Funeral Home in Cumming Ga. on Saturday, July 30th, starting with a meet and greet at 1:30 and service at 2:30. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's foundation would be appreciated.
