Sheila M. Consos

Sheila M. Consos, age 71, of Sandy Springs passed away Friday, September 4, 2015 after a long illness. A native of Savannah, Sheila was a devoted wife of 46 years and a wonderful mother. A devout member of Saints Raphael, Nicholas and Irene Greek Orthodox Church, also a member of the Ladies Philoptchos Society. Sheila worked in the medical profession for over 50 years and is preceded in death by her only son, John Sam Consos, Jr. and her parents, William Coy and Agnes Brightwell Munn. Survivors include her husband, John Sam Consos, Sr. of Sandy Springs; a sister, Wilma Jean Walters of Richmond Hill; 2 brothers, William Coy Munn, Jr. of Savannah, Roy A. Munn of Canton and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 11th, at 10:30 a.m. at Saints Raphael, Nicholas and Irene Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Barnabas Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with the Trisagion at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials in Sheila's name to the Saints Raphael, Nicholas and Irene Greek Orthodox Church Parrish Life Center Fund, 3074 Bethelview Road, Cumming, GA 30040.
