Sherron Lyman Reiley Doss, born June 24,1945 in Dallas, TX to Charles and Louise Reiley, passed away on November 11, 2024.
Sherron was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Roger Carl Doss who died in 2000 at the young age of 57. She is also predeceased by her parents, her brother, Charles “Chuck” Reiley, Jr., and her sister, Sandra Reiley Pritchett.
Sherron is survived by her greatest joy, her daughter, Wendy Doss Rabe and her precious grandsons, Kyler Jules (Caitlin) Rabe and Noah Walker Rabe. She also leaves her brother-in law, Edwin “Charlie” Pritchett; her sisters-in-law, Lucy Reiley and Sharon (Don) Greene; nephews, Todd (Jennifer) Pritchett, Matt (“Mari-netta”) Pritchett, Ross (Andrea) Pritchett, Alan Reiley and Austin Greene; niece, Laura Reiley and great nephews and nieces. Her BFF of 50 years, Roberta (Ron) Carrier also survives her as does an assemblage of old friends from high school and college and new friends from Book Club, Water Aerobics, Bunco and her neighborhood in Cumming, GA.
Sherron grew up in Avondale Estates, GA and graduated from Avondale High School and Emory University. For more than 20 years she managed Lauren’s Hallmark where every customer became her friend.
Everyone who met Sherron loved her and felt fortunate to know her. Her smile, her laugh, her quick wit and her fountain of delightful energy will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Ingram Funeral Home, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming, GA
