Sherry Ann Day

Sherry Ann Day, 72, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025. Born on May 31, 1952, in Cumming, Georgia, Sherry lived a life filled with love, dedication, and a deep connection to her family and friends.

Sherry worked at Tyson Foods for 25 years, where she was known for her hard work and strong work ethic. At home, she found her greatest joy in cooking for her loved ones, creating cherished memories around the dinner table with her incredible meals and generous heart.

Sherry was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elvis Lamar Day, and her son, Anthony Lamar Day. She is survived by her son, Jason Ashley Day; her grandchildren, Austin Hunter Day and Bethany Taylor Davis; and her great-grandchildren, Jax Anthony Davis and Jasper William Davis.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Sherry’s life on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM.

Sherry will forever be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the love she poured into her family and community. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched.
