Shirley Gump Thompson

Shirley Gump Thompson, age 80, of Cumming passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014. A native of Troy, OH, Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling, cooking, boating and watching football. Mrs. Thompson is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Joe Thompson. Survivors include her children, Mark Thompson of Cumming, Toni and Mike Kane of Snellville, Betsy and Jay Oxford of Cumming; grandsons, Joshua Thompson and Joey Putman; a sister, Sharon and Jim Yates of Troy, OH and a brother, Robert and Diane Gump of Florida. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 20th, at 11:00 A.M. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel.
