Stephen Clarence Matthews

Stephen C. Matthews, 62, passed away peacefully at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, Georgia on April 23, 2012.

Born on July 6, 1949, he was the son of the late Bobbie Lee and Lorraine H. Matthews.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He was employed as a senior field service engineer at Elekta for thirty-one years.
He is survived by his wife Julie; his daughter Stephanie and her husband Dane Thomas, Mount Airey, Utah; one grandson Paxton C. Thomas, and brother Jerry H. Matthews, Jackson, Mississippi.

His family would like to extend a special thank you to Steves friends and coworkers at Elekta for all of their love and support. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Byars Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia is assisting the family with arrangements.
