On November 13, 1988, Susan was on the Alpharetta Presbyterian Church Building Committee. In 1988 she went into private practice where Susan and Lem Nelson purchased a building where for the next 32 years they operated two successful private practices in Certified Public Accounting. Always the faithful servant Susan spent 17 years as Sunday School treasurer of the Mize-Dunn Sunday School Class at Cumming First United Methodist Church. When Susan wasn’t working she was spending time with her husband and daughter. From going on family vacations or making it to her daughter’s ball games she always made time for them.
