Susan Eaton White, 63, passed away in Alpharetta, GA on July 18, 2023, with family by her side.
Susan was born April 9, 1960, in Nottingham, England. At the age of 5 Susan’s family moved to Geneva, Switzerland and then to the United States five years later where she became a US citizen at the age of 18. Most of Susan’s childhood was spent in West Port, CT and West Chester, PA before moving to the greater Atlanta area in 1988 where she spent the remainder of her life.
Susan was a vibrant individual who approached life with unwavering passion and enthusiasm. Susan's remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and at home was matched only by her love for her family, friends, and the joy she found in life's simple pleasures. Susan's life was centered around the things that brought her immense happiness. Her greatest pride and joy was her son Andrew, and she would eagerly share countless stories about his accomplishments, filling any room with her maternal love and admiration. Susan's nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family, as she wholeheartedly embraced her extended family and friends, always ensuring they felt valued and cared for.
Susan possessed a deep wanderlust and an adventurous spirit. Traveling was a passion that allowed her to explore new cultures and create lasting memories. Among her preferred travel experiences were the memorable cruises, where she reveled in the excitement of playing her favorite slot machines. Susan's infectious spirit and positive energy made her a joy to be around, and she left a lasting impact on the fellow travelers she met along the way.
Following her retirement as a Corporate Travel agent, Susan devoted her time and energy to the communities she called home. She actively participated in various activities, including card games, mahjong, and pickleball, where she formed deep connections and found joy in friendly competition. Susan's generosity extended beyond the game tables, as she frequently opened her home to entertain guests, creating warm and memorable gatherings.
In her later years, Susan fulfilled a long-held desire by taking up golf. With her dear friend Andrew Pease by her side, she embraced the challenges and rewards of the sport. Susan's determination and persistence were an inspiration to all who knew her, proving that it's never too late to pursue a dream.
Susan will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. Her unwavering love for family, her infectious laughter, and her zest for life will forever remain etched in our hearts. May her memory serve as a reminder to us all to cherish our loved ones, embrace new experiences, and find joy in the simple pleasures that life offers.
