T.R. "Ricky" Reece

T.R. "Ricky" Reece, age 72, of Cumming, GA went peacefully to meet his Lord and Savior on June 23, 2021. He was a member of Coal Mountain Baptist Church. His heart's desire was to live a life that honored Christ. He displayed this in his unconditional love for his family. T.R. was a successful self-taught business man, photographer, and adventurer. He was a man of great integrity and treated everyone he met in life with honor, dignity, and respect. He gave his time, love and wisdom without hesitation and never met a stranger. T.R. was loved by so many and will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, T.J. "Jeff" and Kathleen Reece.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Hazel Reece; children, Greg (Rhonda) Hayes, Brittany Reece; grandchildren, Joshua (Christin) Hayes, Hannah (Devin) Dunson, Matthew Hayes: great grandchildren, River Hayes, Silas Dunson, Jackson Dunson; siblings, Joan Fox, Kathrine "Kathy" Reece, Ginger (Scott) Burton, Sandy (Kim) Reece; nieces, nephews and other family. Loyal four-legged companion, Zoey.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at Coal Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Bennett, Rev. Johnny Eubanks, and Sandy Reece officiating. The interment will follow at the Coal Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and again on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.
