Tameron Jay Gayton

Tameron Jay Gayton, age 42, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022. Tameron loved fishing, hunting, guns and grilling. He was an all-around outdoorsman, who loved nature, life and family. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a very hard worker and took pride in his flawless yard. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carroll Gayton, Patricia Dean, James and Aileen McMullan, Johnny Dean, and Jerry Peppers; brother, Craig Gayton; uncle, Dewayne Gayton; father and mother-in-law, John and Dorothy Wells; and beloved dog, Max.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Courtney Gayton; parents, Kenneth and Brenda Gayton; loved dog, Ridge; best friend, Michael Gunter; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Josh and Leslie Wells, and Jason Wells (Jessie Duncanson); nieces and nephew, Clara, Lauren, and Jonah Wells; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 7, 2022, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA, with Rev. Ricky Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
