Terry Bevers

Terry Bevers, age 75, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 with his loving family at his side. He was born in Athens, GA on November 19, 1942. He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 54 years, Nancy Wolfe Bevers; his children Michael D. Bevers (wife Becky Bevers) and Katie B. Troxel (husband Chris Troxel); his grandchildren Hudson Troxel, Bailey Bevers, and Grayson Troxel; his brother, Rollie Bevers (wife Merlyn Bevers) and his Lab, Buster.

Terry was a successful business owner, avid bird hunter, dedicated Husband, Father and Grandfather - he was a good friend to so many and valued each friendship. He had high expectations of himself and he pushed everyone to do their best. This was a privilege and a luxury to those in his life. He was a loyal Christian with a strong faith. His Bible study group and faith were deeply important to him. He passed with honor, dignity, and in complete peace knowing that he would be with Jesus. Terry knew that by spending oneself one becomes rich and he lived this thru and thru. He put God and family first. He made his grandchildren a priority and instilled lifelong lessons and found such joy in creating memories for them.
