Terry Lee Stinson

Terry Lee Stinson was born to Douglas Lee Stinson and Mary Bell Livingston, on August 7th, 1946, in Louisville, KY and passed away on September 4th, 2021, where he resided in Cumming, GA. Terry's survivors are his wife Deborah S. Stinson, son Daniel W. Stinson, son David L. Stinson, and sister Mary A. Sells. Mary Sells' children are Scott who has passed, Kimberly, and Joseph. Daniel Stinson is married to Sreymoun Stinson, and their children are Abigail, Madelynn, and Kayleigh. David Stinson is married to "Joanne" Jae Seon Kim Stinson and their children are Victoria and Ravi. Terry's oldest sister Jane Lincoln has passed away but is survived by her husband Dick Lincoln and their children Graham Lincoln and Shanna Lincoln.

At age 11, Terry's family moved from "Shively" Louisville, KY to "Central" Corydon, IN where he graduated from Corydon Central High School. Mary Bell would take Terry around town to sing and play the guitar for various local congregations in and around Corydon. Terry loved participating in Church functions with Mary Bell, and with Douglas he loved woodworking and fishing. In July of 1965, Terry enlisted into the Navy and served aboard the USS America. The US Navy honorably discharged Terry in July 1969. Terry, Deborah, Daniel, and David were residents of Corydon, IN prior to AT&T transferring them to Metro-Atlanta in 1989. Terry retired to Cumming, GA in 2001, as a former AT&T SDNCC Communications Technician. Terry held a postretirement career with Woodcraft in Roswell where he enjoyed teaching wood carving and turning classes.

The Stinson's have regularly remained in worship with the LCMS. Terry and Deborah were catechized and married in 1974, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lanesville, IN. Terry held elected congregational offices and or performed elderly duties for Shepard of the Hills, Timothy Lutheran Church, All Saints Lutheran Church, and Living Faith Lutheran Church. Terry and Deborah have sung together in the Church choir
