Terry Lee Strayhorn

Terry Lee Strayhorn, 65, of Cumming passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Terry graduated from Forsyth County high school, served in the United States Navy as an Air Traffic Controller aboard the USS Nimitz. He loved traveling and became a professional Truck Driver. His advice to all was to never have less than a double scoop of ice cream.Terry is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kayne Strayhorn.

Survivors include his son, Tate (Stephanie) Strayhorn; daughter, Madeline (Erik Beauregard) Peterson; grandchildren, Ethan Bowen (U.S.M.C.), Merle Strayhorn, Natalie Hydo, Abigail Hydo; Nathan Beauregard; brother, Jere Strayhorn; sister, Janice Brockmeyer.

A private family service will be held later.
