Thelma Bagwell

Thelma Bagwell, age 91, of Cumming, passed away on March 20th, 2016. She was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church. Thelma was born and raised in the heart of the Coal Mountain community by her mother Viola Mundy. Thelma was a co-owner of Bagwell and Mathis Tire Company. She was well known for her homemade cakes which she loved to share with others. She is preceded in death by her husband, Myron Bagwell; son, Stanley Bagwell; brothers, Clarence (Nub), Bill, Herbert, Wayne, Waldon, Egbert Mundy; sisters, Estie Hollbrook, Bonzie Milum. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Linda Bagwell; daughter, Jeannine Bagwell; daughter-in-law, Susan Bagwell (Jim) Medley; sisters-in-law, Sue Mundy, Catherine Bagwell, Beth Bagwell; grandchildren, Emily (Adrian) Flack, Shane (Crystal) Blackstock, Amanda (Jon) Lillie, Sam (Tamara) Bagwell, Adam Bagwell; 7 great-granchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 21, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and on Tuesday, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
