Thomas Earl Caddick, 50, of Cumming, GA, formerly of Quincy, Illinois, died October 27, 2010 of a heart attack. He was born in Quincy on July 7, 1960 to Doris and Richard Caddick. He was married to Melesa Saulters in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL in 1991. She survives. Mr. Caddick graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in finance. He worked for several years for Consolidated Freightways in Plano, TX and for the past twenty years for Anheuser-Busch, Inc. in Florida and Georgia in marketing management. Tom was an avid Boy Scout and achieved Eagle rank in 1978. He was an active volunteer for military charities, especially Operation One Voice. He was a devoted son to his parents, lovingly caring for them whenever needed and during their terminal illnesses. He also played an enthusiastic role in his nieces and nephews lives. In addition to his wife, survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Susan and William Canis of Great Falls, VA, three nieces and nephews, Dr. Christina Canis of Fort Thomas, KY, Emily and Patrick Canis of Great Falls, an uncle, Everett A. Swanson of Chester, PA, and lifelong family neighbor and friend, Richard Allen of Quincy. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming. Private family interment will take place at a later date at Woodland Mausoleum in Quincy. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to www.operationonevoice.com, Boy Scouts of America, or the Parkinsons Disease Foundation.
