Tom was born in Chicago, IL in 1943 to the late Frank and Marie (Kennerly) Moran and was the second of two children. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Barbara (Filkowski) of 52 years; three children, Debra Moran of Charlotte,NC, Richard (Amanda) of Marietta, GA and Robert (Rachelle) of Peachtree Corners, GA; 4 grandchildren (Reagan, Reese, Chelsea and Vanessa); his sister Maureen (Schallmoser); and nephews John (Lora), Tom (Patty) and Mike (Anne).

As a Sales and Marketing Manager Tom spent the majority of his working years at a major oil company until he retired at 55. During his career Tom was promoted often and enjoyed moving to various cities in the Midwest and the South and when it was time Tom and Barbara retired to the Atlanta, GA area. Tom was an avid golfer and a man who enjoyed time with his family and friends.

A memorial Mass is planned at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Churchon Friday January 12, 2018 at 1:00 pm ETlocated at4633 Shiloh Road, Cumming, GA 30040.
