Thomas George Hare

Thomas G. Hare peacefully died from a brief illness on May 1, 2017. Born December 31, 1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Cyrillus and Mary Hare, Tom graduated from Xavier University with a degree in Business Management. He has lived in Georgia since 1973. He worked at Kellogg's in sales and after retirement worked at Ferguson's Meat Market. Tom was a loving husband and dad, and he was a fantastic grandfather. Tom lived a very humble life, and he was always happy with the simplest things, such as getting a free meal on his birthday. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Paul, and he left behind his loving wife of 52 years, Judy; his daughters Deborah (John) Will and Deanna (Lee) Riley; his brothers, Edward (Sarah) and William; and Grandchildren Jessica and Andrew Will; and Kelly and Mattie Riley. The visitation will be held Sunday, May 7th at Ingram Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The funeral mass will be held Monday, May 8th at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 3740 Holtzclaw Road, Cumming, GA, 30040. A reception will be held in the hospitality room at the church immediately following the service.
