Thomas Kelly

Thomas Kelly, 82, of Beaufort, SC passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016. A native of Wilmington, DE, Tom was a loving husband, father and Pop Pop. A U.S. Army veteran, he retired from a long career with E.I. Dupont as Senior Technical Sales Manager for the Freon Products Division where he traveled world-wide. A man known for his great sense of humor, everywhere he went he never met a stranger. Tom and Patricia found their property in Beaufort many years ago, waiting until he retired to build their dream home on the Beaufort River waterfront. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Patricia Lloyd Kelly; daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberle and Jeffrey Kirby of Cumming, GA. Michele and Peter Augusta of Roswell, GA; grandchildren, Ryan and Daniel Kirby, Alexander and Mia Kelly Augusta; a niece, Anne Marie Kelley Martin; several nephews, Timothy, Daniel and Christopher Kelley; sisters-in-law, Joan Kelley and Catherine Jenkins, and her daughters Diane and Donna. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 70 Lady's Island Drive, Beaufort, SC 29907.
