Tommy Lamar Butler

Tommy Lamar Butler, age 68, of Dawsonville, Ga., passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. He was a member of Chestatee Baptist Church in Gainesville, Ga.

Tommy enjoyed spending time in his shop, driving his tractor, planting his garden, and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas W. and Novelene Butler and his sister, Judy Butler.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, JoAnn Butler; his daughter and son in law, Jessica and Steven Jett; brother and sisters in law, Stanley and Nancy Butler, Terry Butler, Patricia Hamby; nephews, Greg Butler, Burt Butler, Hunter Butler, Paul and Jennifer Hamby; niece, Amanda and Jeff Davis; great nephew, Trevor Butler; great niece, Ellie Davis; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Steve Chadwick officiating. Interment in Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Thursday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
