Trula Z. Roberts

On Monday, May 11th, 2020, Trula Z. Roberts mother of four children, passed away at the age of 85.

Trula was born in New York city, and raised in upstate New York. Upon graduation from Saint Anne's High School she joined the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, she met and married fellow airman Gilbert Ziebell Jr. Together they raised 4 children, Lorraine, Gil, Greg and Jean.

After raising her children, she returned to Government service, earned an associate degree and advanced to became a paralegal working for the Office of Hearings and Appeals, in Social Security Administration. She retired in 2011. A member of the American Legion, she was always the "Drill Sargent"! She would say that was a "Roberts trait".
Trula had a passion for writing and was a published poet. She also enjoyed painting.

She was preceded in death by her father Edward Douglas Roberts, her mother Ellen Chapman Roberts, her brother Edward Roberts and her sister Mary Roberts White.

She leaves behind her older sister Beatrice Curry, her brother James Roberts, her brother-in-law Dennis White and her 4 children.

The funeral will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery, 22025 Mount Carmel Church Lane, Canton, GA 30114 on Friday May 15th 2020.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Heart Association.
