Valerie Jean Martin

Valerie Jean Martin, of Forsyth County, GA, age 29, passed away on March 12, 2013. Valerie loved her family and friends intensely. She was high spirited and full of life. Valerie worked as a home health aide at ResCare HomeCare in Gainesville and was very passionate about her work. Her pride and joy was her Yorkie, Lillie Jean Martin. Survivors include her father, David Martin of Cumming; mother, Carolyn Martin of Dahlonega; sisters, Tracey Jordan of Kennesaw, Beth Martin of Dahlonega; brother, Billy Scott of Hiawassee; aunt, Marie Waldrop of Cumming, Laura Dean Carnes of Cumming; uncle, W.L. Martin of Cumming; nieces and nephews, Paige Scott, Bill Scott, Jesse Scott, Cooper Cassert and other loving relatives, including many great aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 9 and Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
