Velvie Mae Johnson

Mrs. Velvie Johnson, was a loving Mother and special grandmother, we all knew her as "Mema". She had a huge heart and was the anchor of our family. She will be so greatly missed by everyone that knew her. She loved her heavenly father so much and we all know that she is now there with Mr. Johnney Johnson the love of her life, dancing into eternity! Mrs.Velvie was survived by her three children, Joyce & Gary Bonner of Flowery Branch, Ga., Mrs. Maggie Rice of Jackson, Ga. and Mr. John & Joan Johnson of Douglasville, Ga. She had six grandchildren for one is now with our Lord and Savior. She was Honored to have eight great -grandchildren and was a 5th generation great- great grandmother of four! Mrs. Johnson was a teacher of many things but she taught us all about how important family was and to love one another. Good- bye to our sweet Mother and Grandmother, Until we meet again in heaven and have that nice cup of coffee together. Love you always, Your family.
