Vicki Jones Mullinax

Vicki Jones Mullinax, 67, passed away peacefully at home on March 22, 2024. She is a lifelong resident of Forsyth County and was a member of the 1974 Forsyth County High School graduating class. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Vicki was born on August 28, 1956. She grew up in Forsyth County and never moved far from her childhood home. She grew up the only girl with four brothers. After graduating high school, she married and had two children. She was a dedicated mother and was “mom” to all her children’s friends as well. Her home was always open to anyone who needed her! She was Aunt Vicki to her many nieces and nephews. She loved watching them grow and start their own beautiful families. Her favorite role came later in life with the birth of her grandchildren. She was an extremely proud Nana to six amazing granddaughters. Her favorite companions were her toy poodles, Rocco (2000 – 2017) and Mimi. Vicki’s family was her greatest treasure, and she leaves behind an incredible legacy of love.

Vicki is preceded in death by her late husband Benny Mullinax, parents Charlotte and Donnie Bennett, and niece Stephanie Jones. 

Vicki is survived by her children Mandi (Geary) Scherer and Shawn (Julie) Mullinax and grandchildren Karlee Mullinax, Kaitlin Scherer, Ella Scherer, Charlotte Mullinax, Emmee Mullinax, and Savannah Mullinax. She also leaves behind four brothers Ricky (Pam) Jones, Ronnie (Pam) Bennett, Jeff (Donna) Bennett, and Doug (Kelly) Bennett. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
