Vicky Lynn Duran, 53, of Cumming passed away Friday, June 23, 2017. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Vicky put her family first and was a God-fearing woman whose testimony touched thousands. She loved everyone and never met a stranger. A highlight of Vickys life was becoming a grandmother and her time spent working as Catering Manager with Chick-Fil-A. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Barbara Evans; and her two brothers, Jacky Evans and John Evans.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Allen Duran; son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Andrew and Whitney Duran; son, Marcus Duran; granddaughter, Austyn Duran; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Jerry Mitchell; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Tammy Evans; father and mother-in-law, Thurman and Amelia Duran; sister and brother-in-law, George and Becky Hermann; several nieces and nephews; and her Chick-Fil-A family.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 25, at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Andrew Duran, Rev. Jack Pilcher and Rev. Vernie Worley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
