Violet Bailey Parrish

Violet Bailey Parrish , age 96, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on December 31, 2016, after a brief illness. Mrs. Parrish was born on January 7, 1920 to the late Claude and Lula Bell Bailey in Athens, AL. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Glenn Rhodes Parrish. She is survived by her daughters, Debra Russo and Vicki (Joseph) Polo; grandchildren, Danielle (Brian) Nesbitt, Anthony Russo, Victoria Polo; great grandchildren, Tripp and Zachary Nesbitt. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Entombment will follow at Sawnee View Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Atlanta Humane Society.
