Virginia Abi Garrett

Virginia Abi Garrett, age 100, of Cumming, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013. She was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church since 1925. Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Cleon Garrett and her son, Larry Garrett. Survivors include her son, Lamar Garrett; daughter-in-law, Syble Garrett Singleton; grandchildren, Tony (Shelia) Garrett, Sylvia (Daniel) Warnock; great-grandson, Garrett Warnock; and other loved ones and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with her remains to be placed in state at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Pete Martin, Rev. Danny Orr and Rev. Larry Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Thursday, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday, from 5:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until noon.
