Voncile Vaughan

Voncile Vaughan, age 98, of Milton, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Voncile was the oldest member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Milton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Vaughan. Survivors include her children, Irene and Homer Holbrook of Alpharetta, Aubrey and Sarah Vaughan of Cumming, Clara Mae and Bobby Hughes of Cumming, Faye and Lamar White of Alpharetta, Roy and Linda Vaughan of Dahlonega, Janice and Mark Collett of Cumming, Paul and Gail Vaughan of Cumming; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; many other loving nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church of Milton with Rev. Lee Gaddis, Rev. Bud Sutton, and Rev. Alan Sutton officiating. Mrs. Vaughan will lie in state at the church from 1:30 - 2:00. The interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Wednesday, from 5:00-9:00 pm, Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 9:00 pm, and on Friday from 9:00 am until the hour of service.
