Walter "Lewie" Thaxton, 42, of Jasper Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 30th, 2012.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Thaxton; daughters, Amanda Thaxton, Emily Thaxton of Dawsonville, GA and Courtney Thaxton of Dahlonega, GA; brothers, Johnny Thaxton of Virginia, Gary and Leonard Thaxton of Cumming, GA and Rande Thaxton of Canton, GA; sisters, Juanita Earnhardt of Marietta, GA and Judy Pruitt of Cumming, GA.

A Graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 5th, 2012 at the Alpharetta City cemetery at 1:00pm.
