Wansley Pruitt Payne

Wansley Pruitt Payne, age 84, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020. She was born in 1936, to the late George Clifford and Ezel Pruitt. Wansley was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Dawsonville, GA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Emerson T. Payne, and grandson, Kaleb Payne.

She is survived by her children, Rev. Carter and Martha Payne, Kenneth and Vivian Payne, Carolyn and David Parks, Rev. Barry and Rita Payne, and Rev. Marcus and Deborah Payne; brothers, Aubrey Pruitt and Jerry Pruitt; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren, along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Payne will be heldSaturday, February 15, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.in the Chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with Rev. Tim Hubbard and Rev. Danny Ray Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral homeon Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.andon Saturday from 9:00 a.m.until the hour of service.
