William A. Johnson

Mr. William A. Johnson, age 82, of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Born and raised in Miami, FL, Mr. Johnson attended the University of Miami and retired, after 35 years from BellSouth/AT He was a person who loved people, especially babies. Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his son, Garrett Johnson. Survivors include his wife, Carol Johnson; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Dano Booth, all of Cumming; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Leah Johnson of West Palm Beach, FL; sister, Mildred Blizzard of Miami; sister-in-law, Barbara Johnson of Okeechobee, FL; grandsons, Ryan Booth and Evan Booth; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 3, at 1:00 P.M. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kathie Stasko officiating. Interment will be later at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cumming First United Methodist Church Food Pantry or to the American Cancer Society.
