William Frank Turner, Sr

Mr. William Frank Turner, Sr., age 86 of Ball Ground, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010. He was a member of Amicalola Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Gladys Turner. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Matie Turner of Ball Ground; children, George and Denise Cole of Cumming, Frank and Sharon Turner of Ball Ground, Janice Carpenter and Robert Hedrick of Dawsonville, Doug and Tami OBryant of Ball Ground, Luke and Tammy Turner of Ball Ground; 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Stradley, Rev. Ricky Byrd, Rev. J.B. Reese and Rev. Steve Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Amicalola Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday from 10:30 am until 9:00 pm and Tuesday 9:00 am until hour of service. Ingram Funeral Home Crematory, Cumming, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
