William Hugh "Hugh Bob" Carnes

William Hugh Carnes AKA Hugh Bob, age 66, of Cumming, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014. A top notch mechanic and business owner, Hugh loved to fish and hunt and would rather have been outside than anywhere else. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Dianne Carnes of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Denise Carnes of Cumming, James and Barbara Carnes of Dawsonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald and Judy Carnes of Cleveland, Eugene and Annette Carnes of Cumming; sisters and brother-in-law, Loyce and Cloyse Hicks of Cumming, Barbara Reagin of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Myron Carnes, Seth Carnes, Shanna and Craig Oliver and other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Reverend Tony Estes and Reverend Joey Wigley officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, from 10 to noon and 3 to 9 and on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
