William Ray Lewis

William Ray Lewis 77, born May 29th, 1945 of Alpharetta Georgia, passed away January 29th, 2023. He is preceded in death by his father John Henry Lewis, his mother Connie Lee Suggs Lewis, sister Mary Francis Burnette and brother Joel Dewitt Lewis of Cumming. 

Surviving are his sister, Fannie Mae Lewis Avery of Cleveland; daughters, Angelia Pauline Archer of Dawsonville, Andrea Lewis and William Cecil Howard of Statesboro, Anita LaRae and Douglas Richard Hughes of Cumming; grandchildren, Sarah Pauline Archer of Dawsonville, William (Will) Cecil Howard, Kendall Brannen Howard and Ashton Bennett Howard of Statesboro, Rachel LaRae Hughes and Allison Bailey Hughes of Cumming,; greatgranddaughter, Ensley Grayson Lew of Cumming; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 3, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
