Born: June 10, 1952 in Terre Haute, IN
and passed away at age 69 on February 18, 2022.
To my love and dear friend that we were always there for each other; that battled pancreatic cancer for six years. Ken was a very special and wonderful guy to anyone that knew him. Ken loved to travel and has read over 2,000 novels. Ken participated in 5K running races, enjoyed growing orchids, and was always at the Library. Ken loved music, especially the “blues” and had a special “me day” place at the lake where his ashes will be placed and remembered always.
Ken is survived by his wife of 32 years, Vickie L. Forrester and furry kids Kevin 5 and Xena 3, who miss him dearly, many kisses from Xena! And love from angels Tasha, Tank, & Moose. To my Smoochie Butt…we will be together again one day…we will love and miss you forever and you will always be in our hearts.
Ken is also survived by his mother Joy Nelson, two brothers Tom & Steve Nelson, and loving sister Linda. Along with Ken’s friends: Lee (football), Chad (tomatoes), Theresa (books), and Kay (corny jokes).
Please send any donations in William Kenneth Nelson’s name to Project Purple to support pancreatic cancer research.
