WILLIAM V. LASHBROOK , age 87 was born January 11, 1923 in Galesburg, IL. He passed away on November 6, 2010 in Canton, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, John William and Bernice Ann (DULL) Lashbrook; his sister, Elizabeth and brother, Glenn Lashbrook; his first wife, Vera Yeager Lashbrook; stepsons, James and Jerry Grady and his grandson Roy Lashbrook, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lashbrook, Canton GA; his son, Roy A. Lashbrook of Ragland, AL; stepsons, Terry Grady of Burlington, IA, Eric Ericson of Ellijay, GA and Karl Ericson of Canton, GA; step daughters, Terri Williams and Pamela Easley of Galesburg, IL, Krista Ericson of Canton, GA and Clarise Fenner of Burlington, IA. He has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a Veteran of World War II and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Admiral/Maytag in Galesburg, IL. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple, A long time member of the American Legion and a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans.
He loved to work in his workshop making wind chimes and woodcrafts which can be found in Georgia, Illinois and other states.
Graveside Interment will be Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 4PM at Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery, Canton, GA.
