Willie Bolden Mathis, age 96 and lifelong resident of Forsyth County, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013. She was a member of Haw Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Edd Bolden; second husband, Jewell Mathis; sons, James Bolden, Johnny Bolden; grandson, Paul Wilkins; parents, Will and Pearl Mayhue. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Gwendolyn and John Wilkins of Canton; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Barbara Bolden of Cumming; daughter-in-law, Donna Bolden of Cumming; 4 stepchildren; sister, Lou Ella Popham of Cumming; brother, J. C. Mayhue of Flowery Branch; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 16th at 2:00 pm at Haw Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Horace Richards, Rev. Nathan Martin and Rev. Larry Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow in Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Monday from 9:00 am until hour of the service.
