Willie Myrtle Holt

Mrs. Willie Myrtle Weaver Holt, age 91 of Cumming, Georgia, formerly of Ellijay passed on Saturday, January 30th, 2016, at the Cumming Nursing Center. Born January 14, 1925 in Ellijay, Georgia to her late parents Homer and Cleo Weaver. She was a homemaker and a member of Greater Heights Baptist Church in Cumming. She is preceded in death by her son, Rev. Randy Holt, daughter-in-law, Cheryl Holt, brothers, Aaron Weaver, Leon Weaver and sister, Hazel Cantrell. Mrs. Holt is survived by her husband of 71 years, John Charles Holt of Cumming, son and daughters-in-law, Larry and Jackie Holt of Holly Lake Ranch, TX, Barbara Holt of Gainesville, GA, grandchildren, Brian, Darrell, Gary, Nathan and Rev. Jason Holt, 7 great grandchildren, sisters, Pete Bryant of Jasper, GA, Lois Schrack and Geneva Painter both of Ellijay, GA, sister-in-law, Opal Weaver of Cumming, several nieces and nephews also survive. A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday February 3rd, 2016 at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel in Cumming with the Rev. Chris Grinstead and Rev. Jason Holt officiating. Music and vocals will be performed by Lamar Wheeler, Janet Troutman, and Julie, Aaron and Randy Holt. Interment will be in Sawnee View Gardens, Cumming, GA with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends for the first visitation from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, February 1st, 2016, at the Logan Funeral Home, Ellijay, Georgia. The second visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2016 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA.
