Wilma Dean Gravitt, age 76, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021. She was born to the late Ernest Edgar and Callie Turner. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She worked many years for the Forsyth County Clerk of Superior Court and served as the Chief Deputy Clerk until her retirement in 2012. She loved reading, jigsaw puzzles, and talking to her friends and family on the phone. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, E.C. Turner and Wayne Turner; her sisters, Virginia Lamb, Valaree Walls and Bobbie Owen.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Gravitt; her daughters and sons in law, Cindy and Tim Henderson, Angie and David Jennings; grandchildren, Alex and Ryan Henderson, Abby Jennings, Natalie Henderson and fiance Tyler Webb, Austin and Jordan Jennings, Rachel Jennings and fiance Ben Whitted; great grandchildren, Beckett Henderson and Emmett Jennings; brothers in law and sisters in law, Jerry and Dephene Gravitt, Kenneth and Judy Gravitt, Charlene and Guerry Garrett.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., at Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Richard and Rev. Ruel Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Coal Mountain Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
