Wynell Helen (Smith) Wilkie

Wynell Smith Wilkie, 84 of Cumming, GA passed away September 29, 2022. Mrs. Wilkie was born in Canton, GA to the late Hoyt Jessie & Edith Marie Smith. Wynell was a lifetime member of Hightower Baptist Church. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wynell would spend hours watching them play around the house enjoying their laughter and smiles. She loved cooking big meals for her family they especially love her ‘nanny biscuits’. Mrs. Wilkie enjoyed gardening and bird watching. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Wilkie; and a granddaughter, Amanda Pittman.

Wynell is survived by her children, Diane & Ronnie Frix, Deborah Mills, Donna Gravitt, Don Wilkie; grandchildren, Jason, Tiffany, Dusty, Chad, Austin, Edward Lee, Taylor, Kansas, Tessa; great grandchildren, Easton, Wyatt G., Bryce, Bailey, Colt, Brandi, Brooke, Beth, Hannah, Wyatt F., Hunter, Dallas, Tripp, Waylon, Tailey, Bella, Jax, Mac, Ryker, Raeleigh; sister and brother in-law, Sandra and Doyle Darby; brother and sister in-law, Billy and Linda Smith.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, October 3, 2022, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Gerral Richards, and Rev. Rex Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home & Crematory
